As a regional music lover, I began to realize so much of live music information in our communities travels word-of-mouth, which tends to leave out a large fraction of our communities because they can't simply look to traditional or social media to get in-the-know. So I started this monthly newsletter to announce live music in the region (Bemidji, Walker, Park Rapids, Fosston, Laporte). It has 200+ subscribers so far. On average, about 90 people read the newsletter each month.

Newspaper Coverage

Over the years, the Bemidji Pioneer, and specifically Dennis Doeden will reliably cover productions I produce. I've only included one feature article he's written below, but he generally covers every press release I send him. He's incredibly supportive that way. I've included links to articles in other regional newspapers below, too.

Lakeland PBS's InFocus segment on the Sam Miltich concert I produced at The Chief Theater. (February 2023)

Paul Bunyan Broadcasting donated upwards of $30,000 in free advertising for the Sam Miltich and the Clearwater Hot Club concert I produced at The Chief Theater. We generated at least 30 hits per day on our ticketing website when this spot was running on their cable channels. As a result, we were able to supersede our audience goal of 130 people in attendance.

They even donate the production of the commercial. All we had to do was provide some copy, music, and visuals.

Paul Bunyan Broadcasting donated the production of this free spot they aired on their cable channels in advance of Augmeanted's Harp & Sol performances.

Posters & Handbills

Browse this collection of posters I've crafted. I post in at least 25 locations around Bemidji for each production. I also make an accompanying set of handbills for distribution too. I will make posters and handbills and work to distribute them in other host communities, too.
