The Delta Blues (2008)
I grew up here, in the shadow of these lands and have been given a voice to sing and share some of their stories. To be in badlands of Eastern Montana, is to know what happened when a river met its sea. The delta of an ancient river, this is where acres of sediment and clay deposited to form the canyons and ridges that stand here today. I've found that the mouth of this ancient river doesn't sing a lonesome delta blues, but the jump-joy blues of double-rainbows that shine over the darkest of summer storms. I invite you to be moved by the music and support the land.
